echoBOOM
echoBOOM was a main-stage straight play at the University of Central Oklahoma, opening and closing in October 2015. This production proved to be a challenge due to this being the first show I had ever worked on as a Wardrobe Supervisor.
As Wardrobe Supervisor for this production, I was in responsible for delegating which crew members would be assisting with which quick changes, as well as when and where those would happen. For this production there were multiple ensemble changes, this being so, there was a quick change Z-rack both backstage left and right. The most difficult quick change in this production involved a full costume change as well as getting the actress out of handcuffs, which could only be opened by a small key, all in the span of 30 second scene change. I over came this obstacle by rehearsing quick changes every night and having a very clear line of communication with the actress, myself and the wardrobe crew.
This production was remounted for KCACTF Region 6 Festival in February 2016.
For the remount of this production I was the only dresser that attended the festival and the costume designer then filled the role of Wardrobe Supervisor.
